Our Mission

CRUUC ChaliceFor those who live in the Castle Rock, Colorado, area, being progressive-minded can be isolating. It is the mission of the Castle Rock Unitarian Universalist Community (“CRUUC”) to provide a supportive sanctuary and sense of community to such individuals, along with a philanthropic/ volunteer presence, with the beliefs, principles and sources of Unitarian Universalism (“UU”) as its cornerstones.

For those individuals who belong to one of the outlying UU churches, our Community contributes support in the form of local small group social functions; and for those UU churches, a positively-reflecting community presence.

We welcome all people who honor the UU beliefs and principles, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, national origin, disability, mental or physical challenges, religious beliefs, gender identity or sexual orientation.

Please join us on the 3rd Sunday of every month at 4:00 p.m. for our Exploration and Potluck (our interactive, social version of a church meeting). These monthly Sunday afternoon meetings are currently held at 3737 New Hope Way, Castle Rock, CO, 80109 in the Castle Rock Room of New Hope Presbyterian Church.
