Discussion & Potluck: October 18, 2015

Let Your Best Be For Your Friend

Your friend is your needs answered.
[She] is your field which you sow with love and reap with thanksgiving.
And [she] is your board and your fireside.
For you come to [her] with your hunger, and you seek [her] for peace. — excerpt from Kahlil Gibran’s
The Prophet

Once again, we are privileged to have Rev. Alicia R. Forde, Professional Development Director, Ministries and Faith Development for the UUA, provide this month’s exploration as a lead-in to our discussion. You may remember Alicia’s insightful, poetic and meditative exploration in March earlier this year.

We hope you’ll join us! As always, we will finish up with a pot luck and social hour, so please bring food and/or drink to share. Our current meeting place is The Bethesda Lutheran Community Facility*, 680 Atchison Way, Castle Rock, CO 80109. Meetings begin promptly at 4 o’clock p.m.

To R.S.V.P., please email Gary Wyngarden.
