Choosing Trust In Risky Times
It is counter-cultural to choose trust. Demagogues and marketers want us to choose fear, feel fear, run towards security, fear the unknown, fear our neighbors. It is counter-cultural to choose trust. In ourselves. In others (without being naive or unwise). In the future. In life itself. Let us deconstruct these choices, especially in these times of fake news and information overload.
Rescheduled from March, this month’s guest speaker, Rev. Ruth Rinehart, is currently the Assistant Minister at Boulder Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, a leader in JUUST Living and a Trustee of the Colorado Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice.
We hope you’ll join us! As always, we will finish up with a potluck and social hour, so please bring food and/or drink to share. Blue jeans and casual attire are welcome.
