Sanctuary and Resistance in Dangerous Times

Our exploration and meeting for January 15, 2017, will focus on a message from Unitarian Universalist Association President, Reverend Peter Morales, and it’s applicability to the Castle Rock UU Community.

The political winds in the country are changing dramatically and with those changes will come serious challenges to our UU values. CRUUC Founder and Board President, Gary Wyngarden, will lead our service reflecting on Rev. Morales’ remarks and the CRUUC response. The service will conclude with small group discussions focused on key questions related to the exploration.

We hope you’ll join us! As always, we will finish up with a potluck and social hour, so please bring food and/or drink to share. Blue jeans and casual attire are welcome.

Our current meeting place is 3737 New Hope Way, Castle Rock, CO, 80109, in the Castle Rock Room of New Hope Presbyterian Church*.

Meetings begin promptly at 4 o’clock p.m.

To R.S.V.P., simply email Cath Wyngarden cath@cruuc.org.
