Cacti, Deserts, and Manna from Heaven
We all move through different territories, geographies, and landscapes in our lives. What shall we do when we move through the drylands and deserts? How shall we make our way through without thirsting, hungering, or struggling beyond what is necessary? When we are lost in the desert, what can we find there that will help us survive our journey? Come hear a sermon by Cindy Pincus as she blends biology and theology and offers some juicy sustenance for our wanderings in the wilderness.
With a Masters of Divinity from the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, Cindy Pincus is currently a hospice chaplain in Denver and a regular preacher at multiple Colorado Front Range churches. Entering the final preparations for UU ordination and ministry, Cindy still manages to find time for her artwork, printmaking, and hiking in the Rocky Mountains.
We hope you’ll join us! As always, we will finish up with a potluck and social hour, so please bring food and/or drink to share. Blue jeans and casual attire are welcome.
Our current meeting place is 3737 New Hope Way, Castle Rock, CO, 80109, in the Castle Rock Room of New Hope Presbyterian Church.*
Please arrive by 3:45 p.m. Meetings begin promptly at 4:00 p.m.
