In Fresh Surprise of Love

Lessons in Love – from Cats

Paul Gibb

Please join us as guest speaker Paul Gibb explores his realization that Love is not about Ownership … but rather about Shared Joy. Paul speaks about both the joy shared and the lessons learned during his 36 years of tutorship by cats.

Paul Gibb has been a professor of English literature, a New York City taxicab driver, a signalman on a railroad, and owner of a telecommunication business. He is currently retired and living with his wife Meri in Niwot, Colorado, where he spends his time writing and working on projects around the house. He is a lifetime UU and a member of the Boulder Valley UU Fellowship in Lafayette. His daughter, Rev. Sarah Gibb Millspaugh, works for the UUA’s Pacific Western Region and often comes to Colorado. Over the past 32 years he has written 18 sermons and delivered them a total of 49 times at various UU congregations.

We hope you’ll join us! As always, we will finish up with a potluck and social hour, so please bring food and/or drink to share. Blue jeans and casual attire are welcome.

Our current meeting place is 3737 New Hope Way, Castle Rock, CO, 80109, in the Castle Rock Room of New Hope Presbyterian Church*.

Please arrive by 3:45 p.m. Meetings begin promptly at 4:00 p.m.
