February 15, 2015: Discussion and Potluck

When Government Is Unresponsive, by Frank R. Morris

“When the government is unresponsive to critical issues such as climate change and inequality and gridlocked with polarized animosity, what is a responsible citizen to do?”

Our guest speaker at the Castle Rock Unitarian Universalist Community discussion and potluck on February 15, 2015 will be Frank R. Morris, ordained minister, psychotherapist, atheist, activist and author of several books including Poisonous Ideologies and Their Antidotes.

Frank will share his experiences from the 1960’s in anti war protest and civil rights work in Chicago with Jesse Jackson, and our discussion groups will focus on the applicability of those strategies to today’s environment.

The meeting will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the Bethesda Lutheran Community Center, 680 Atchison Way, Castle Rock. As always we will finish up with a pot luck and social hour, so please bring food and/or drink to share.

Hope to see you there!”
