A UU Theology of Brokenness

Kenny Wiley

Unitarian Universalism does great with wholeness. That is our saving message: that we are, even on our worst days, worthy of love. But what about being broken, or hurt, or what about when we harm others? What then?

Join Kenny Wiley, a UU World senior editor, a program director for the Interfaith Alliance of Colorado, and a former religious educator at Prairie UU in Parker, for an enthusiastic and thoughtful look at how our faith can meaningfully respond to what’s worst in us, and to those tough moments.

Kenny Wiley is also a member of the Black Lives of UU organizing collective, is an avid ultimate frisbee player, and a big football and women’s basketball fan.

We hope you’ll join us! As always, we will finish up with a potluck and social hour, so please bring food and/or drink to share. Blue jeans and casual attire are welcome.

Our current meeting place is 3737 New Hope Way, Castle Rock, CO, 80109, in the Castle Rock Room of New Hope Presbyterian Church*.

Please arrive by 3:45 p.m. Meetings begin promptly at 4:00 p.m.
